What the app does with your data
When you convert a recipe, the app sends the recipe text or URL you provided to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API to generate a pressure cooker version. This happens only when you tap the Pressurize button. We do not log or store the recipe content on our server.
What we do not do
- We do not store your recipes on our servers. They are forwarded to OpenAI and immediately discarded.
- We do not require an account, and we do not know who you are.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any other device data.
- We do not show ads, use analytics SDKs, or track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone.
What stays on your device
All converted recipes are saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted permanently when you uninstall the app or remove a recipe.
Third parties
OpenAI processes each recipe conversion request, subject to OpenAI's API data usage policies. API data is not used to train their models by default. DigitalOcean hosts our proxy server; like most hosting providers, it may keep short-lived operational logs (such as IP addresses) for security and abuse prevention purposes.
Children
Pressurize is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
